In 1977 Telettra Spa patented the world’s first passive shelter.
The invention concerned a TLC shelter station able to ensure the functioning of the radio equipment housed in it, in environmental conditions varying from – 55° a + 40°, without the use of air conditioning devices with energy consumption.
The same was used for No. 64 stations of the Trans-Siberian ( BAM project URSS)
