Where Celantel’s comes from.
In this branch there are significant technological innovations: the electronic equipment of the telephone companies are miniaturized and the housing requierements (vandalism, seal, maintenance, energy saving, and so on) must follow new parameters.
The infrastructures have to be developed with different design criteria and innovative construction solutions: not simple sentry boxes or protection ones but real engineered infrastructures!
CELANTEL has undertaken, in particular, to formulate a totally passive type of new Cabinet starting from the need of the telephone operators to have small cabinets to be installed in urban areas, which have to be, therefore, suitable for environmental needs such as noise, energy saving and maintenance.
Moreover, the telephone operators are reviewing the installed units.
CELANTEL, at this regards, has designed and patented a semi-passive module to be combined with the shell of existing private shelters, thus ensuring the thermal operation without the use of air conditioners: the S.C.U.K.
